Survival sunday!

Its the final day of the Barclays Premier football League! I know you may not be interested in football and that's fine. So much is at stake. Up to £40 million for some clubs. Thankfully my team Tottenham Hotspur doesn't need to win to survive but for others it could be curtains.

The high and the lows the tears the emotional drama. It may be to much for some to bare.

Football is big business. Two more clubs will go down a division. West Ham have already fallen. Which ever two other clubs go down, its going to take alot to get back up again and challenge in the top flight is enormous!!

New goals will have to be set, new confidence re instilled, lots of motivation and a desire to want to be successful to get back up to the top flight. This got me thinking and I realised that there are parallels with divorce. Two sides are fighting for survival, both may go down. Both may stay up. One may go down and one may stay up. All the scenarios are real.

The emotional rollercoaster, unbearable, dramatic, and life changing. For some football teams it may take one season before they get back up. Good planning, goal setting, a sound financial structure and a willingness to succeed. For others it will take longer.

Even when teams go down, its about how they consolidate and stabilize, so that they don't drop any further.

So here's my message to you. Whether you have been unable to escape the drop down division or not based on your divorce. You will be effected in some way! It's not the drop that matters as hard as it is. Its how you deal with the place you find yourself in and how you move on after.

Till next time.
